Vertebral artery dissection has been previously described following chiropractic maneuvers to the neck region. Usual clinical findings include unilateral or bilateral neck pain associated with cerebellar and lower brainstem infarctions. Hundsberger et al1 report a 31-year-old previously healthy woman with a spontaneous bilateral vertebral artery dissection.
