The purpose of Seminars in Pediatric Neurology is to provide authoritative and comprehensive reviews for pediatric neurologists, pediatric
neuropathologists, behavioral pediatricians, and general neurologists.
Please send your completed manuscript to the Guest Editor
who has invited you to contribute. All parts of the manuscript, including abstract, footnotes, tables, legends, quoted material,
and case studies, must be typed double spaced.
The final version of the manuscript should be submitted by email or on diskette
or CD.
On the TITLE PAGE, please include:
The names, degrees, and professional affiliation (position, department,
institution, place) of all authors
The name of the institution where the work reported was done ("From...")
Acknowledge
of grant support when appropriate ("Supported in part by...")
A complete mailing address (including U.S. Zip Code or Postal
Code for other countries and email) for first proofs and for reprint requests
An ABSTRACT, of approximately 100 to
150 words, should be included on a separate page. It should concisely state the objective, finding, and conclusion of the study/review
and should not contain abbreviations, footnotes, or references.

REFERENCE NUMBERS in the text follow numerical order and are denoted
in text by superscript numbers. References are listed in the order in which they are referred to in the text, not in alphabetical order;
they must follow the style of the samples that follow. Please note that manuscripts in press may be referenced; however, manuscripts
that have been submitted for publication but not yet accepted should not be referenced. All references must be complete when the manuscript

TABLES AND FIGURES
All tables and figures
must be cited in the text.
TABLES are to be numbered with Arabic numerals (Table 1, Table 2) in order of their text citation. Each
table should be typed (double- spaced throughout) on a separate sheet of paper and should have a title. Maximum table width: 144 characters
(ie, letters and spaces). Use spaces, not vertical rules, to separate columns. Each table should have a legend in sufficient detail
to allow understanding without reference to the text.
ILLUSTRATIONS should be identified (in light pencil on the back) by the author's
name as well as by figure number. TOP should be marked, and maximum cropping marked.
All illustrations must be submitted in
BLACK-AND-WHITE, ready for printing. Photocopied illustrations or authors' sketches are not suitable for reproduction in the Journal.
The cost of color plates must be borne by the author. Color prints are not acceptable for reproduction as black and white prints. Illustrations
are accepted electronically.
If any illustration has been previously published, a copy of the letter of PERMISSION from the
copyright holder must accompany the illustration. The source of the illustration should be included among the References to the
paper. The figure legend should conclude with "Reprinted with permission" followed by the reference number: Reprinted with permission.(23)
The cost of any permission fees must be paid by the author.
ILLUSTRATION LEGENDS are also to be numbered in Arabic numerals
(Fig 1, Fig 2). Legends should be typed double-spaced on manuscript paper not attached to the illustrations themselves. Legends should
be sufficiently detailed to allow understanding without reference to the text.
PROOFREADING
The first author is sent
galley proofs and asked to proofread them for typographical errors, returning them to the publisher within 48 hours. Important changes
in data will be accepted, but authors will be charged for excessive alterations in proof.
PREPARING ARTICLES ON COMPUTER DISK
Seminars in Pediatric Neurology is edited online. Please submit your manuscript via email or on diskette/CD. We
prefer articles prepared on Microsoft Word.
